The short version

  • We don't use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers.
  • Our server keeps standard technical logs, including your IP address, for up to 15 days for security.
  • If you request a demo or email us, we use your details only to reply and follow up.
  • We never sell your personal data.

1. Who we are

lojo.ai is operated by Lojo Technology FZ-LLC ("lojo", "we", "us"), a Free Zone Limited Liability Company registered in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (licence no. 47038606). We are responsible for (the "controller" of) the personal data described in this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the lojo.ai website and the enquiries you send us, such as demo requests.

It does not cover data that our customers process using the lojo platform. That data is governed by our agreement with each customer, and we handle it on the customer's behalf and according to their instructions. If your organisation uses lojo, please contact them about how your data is handled.

3. What we collect and why

Website visits

Like almost every website, our web server automatically records basic technical information about each request.

What
Your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the page that linked you here, your browser and device type, and whether the request succeeded.
Why
To deliver the website, keep it secure (for example, to detect and block attacks), and fix problems.
Legal basis
Our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
How long
Up to 15 days, then deleted automatically.

Demo requests and emails

Our demo form does not send anything to our servers. When you submit it, it opens your own email app with a pre-filled message to hello@lojo.ai, and you decide whether to send it. The same applies when you email us directly.

What
Your name, company, work email, your message, and anything else you include in your email.
Why
To reply to you, arrange and run a demo, follow up about lojo, and keep a record of our conversation.
Legal basis
Taking steps you have asked for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
How long
For as long as we are in touch, and up to 24 months after our last contact. If you become a customer, our customer agreement applies instead. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

What we don't collect

We don't use cookies or similar technologies, analytics, advertising or social media trackers. The website loads no third-party content: all fonts, styles and scripts are served from lojo.ai itself. We don't use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run lojo, under terms that require them to protect it and use it only to provide their service to us:

  • Scaleway SAS (Paris, France) hosts the website and its server logs, in the European Union.
  • Google (Google Workspace) provides our email, so it receives demo requests and messages sent to hello@lojo.ai.

We may also disclose personal data if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or to a buyer or successor if our business is reorganised or sold. In that case, we will tell you.

5. International transfers

We are based in the United Arab Emirates. Our website is hosted in France, and our email provider may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where data protection law requires it, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses included in our providers' data processing terms.

6. How we protect it

The website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to our server and mailboxes is limited to authorised people, and we collect only the data we need for the purposes above.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and the EU and UK GDPR, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your data;
  • restrict how we use it, or object to our using it based on our legitimate interests;
  • send your data to you or another organisation in a portable format.

To make a request, email hello@lojo.ai. We will reply within 30 days, free of charge. We may need to confirm your identity first.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in the UAE, the UAE Data Office; in the EU or UK, the authority where you live or work. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

8. Children

Our website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will make that clear on the website.
